St Giles Legal and Professional Risks are specialists in Professional Indemnity insurance for solicitors and is a division of St Giles Insurance and Finance Services Ltd. Our senior staff are solicitors with many years experience as partners in specialist practices, giving us a greater insight into the professional needs of our clients.
The demise of the Solicitors Indemnity Fund on 31st August 2000 saw an unprecedented demand for Professional Indemnity insurance. Many insurers and indeed brokers were unable to cope with such demands however since that date St Giles has been able to provide quotations in the open market from a number of insurers for all of its clients, giving each client an extensive overview of the market. Our knowledge of the market and the legal expertise of our team has enabled us to negotiate competitive rates for its clients and to secure a significant client base. Indeed, St Giles has been able to obtain insurance for firms that have gone into the Assigned Risks Pool when no other broker has been able to do so.
We are also a truly independent broker as we are not specifically tied to any one insurer. Our clients needs are our priority!
